Back to Masking

By Bluestem Yoga

TUE JUL 27, 2021

Well, darn. The pandemic grows again.

Bluestem follows CDC guidelines and local public health orders, and we are now requiring masks for anyone who visits the studio. We will slightly reduce the maximum class size so pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

We all look forward to seeing your smiles again in the pretty near future. Stay safe, friends!

Bluestem Yoga COVID-19 Policy
Updated July 27, 2021

Bluestem Yoga follows Douglas County public health orders and CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. As of July 27, 2021, both the CDC and the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department recommend that everyone 2 and older wear masks indoors, even if fully vaccinated. Therefore, masks are required for anyone who visits the studio.

Since COVID-19 is very rarely transmitted through surfaces, our policy on props remains the same:

1) Studio props (blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps) are available for anyone to use. Students will be asked to wipe down blocks before returning to the shelf.

2) You may rent props from the studio. For $15 a month, the studio will set aside two blocks and two blankets for your use only. (Mat rental is also available for $25 a month, or rent mat, blocks, and blankets for just $35.) Rental props are stored in the loft.

3) You may bring your own props.

Our HVAC system has a medical-grade HEPA filter.

We encourage everyone to continue taking steps to prevent the transmission of contagious illnesses, including staying home when you are sick. Our teachers will do the same!

Thank you for helping to keep students and teachers healthy!
