This one-time 75-minute class combines conversation with a short sample beginner's class. We'll share all you need to know to choose a Bluestem class that's right for you and feel comfortable in your first class. Perfect for those who've never done yoga, as well as those who've tried online or gym yoga but have never taken an in-person studio class. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a mat or borrow one of ours.

Learn the foundational postures of yoga and the importance of breath and healthy alignment. This class moves at a slower pace, and you’ll receive lots of instruction. Learn how to modify poses to work within the limits of your body. Questions encouraged; class size limited. Also, we'll have fun!
