I did a thing! And an invitation…
Hey there, Bluesketeers. I’m writing to share an exciting personal update—and an invitation!
Last July, I completed a wonderful 9-month course (Martha Beck’s Wayfinder Life Coach Training) to become a professional life coach. Now I work one-on-one with people on issues important to them. For a couple more months, while I finish my practicum, I'm offering some coaching for FREE. I would love to work with you! We can talk about whatever's on your mind, whether it's something you're drawn to or something that's holding you back or causing you suffering.
Here are just a few of the issues you might bring to a coaching conversation:
Feeling “stuck”
Wanting to pursue a life-long dream
Longing to become your best self
Transitioning into a new stage of life
Wanting to feel more confident
Leaving behind emotional baggage
Wanting to embrace your introverted nature
Needing a safe space to talk about loneliness, grief, or loss
As a professional coach, I don't give advice, I simply ask questions, encourage you to listen to your inner voice, reflect back what I'm hearing, and ask you what kind of support you need. I have some useful (and fun!) tools to help you hear your inner voice.
Everything you say, even the fact that we are talking, is completely confidential. We can meet by video, phone, or in person. We can even take a walk. (Seriously, walking coaching sessions are wonderful!)
Coaches and clients typically work together for multiple sessions. But I thought some of you might like to try out a single session, maybe just for fun, so I’m offering something special for Bluesketeers: Pop-up Coaching and Cookies! On four days in March, I’ll bring coaching to the studio. We can share a cup of tea, a cookie, and conversation. You can bring any topic that’s on your mind. Or, if you don’t have a topic, I can share a thought exercise that’s guaranteed to spark conversation about your values, dreams, and/or struggles.
These in-studio appointments are 45 minutes long, and the available start times are:
Wednesday March 12—12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
Tuesday March 18—11am, 12pm, 4pm
Thursday March 27—10am, 11am, 12pm
Saturday March 29—11am, 12pm, 1pm
Save your spot here!
If you’re on the fence, I hope you’ll decide to do it! I need a certain number of coaching hours to complete my certification, so you’ll be helping me out. More importantly, there’s a good chance you’ll have some insight that tweaks how you see life or yourself—and that’s a wonderful catalyst for personal or professional growth.
If you’re interested in a free session but can’t come one one of the days listed above, email me something about your availability, and we’ll find a time. If you already know you could benefit from multiple coaching sessions, email me to claim a free package of three sessions. (I’m offering just four free packages this spring, while I finish my practicum.) Remember, while the pop-coaching is at Bluestem, regular coaching sessions can take place by video, by phone, or while walking in a Lawrence park.
Got questions? Email, call, or talk to me in the studio.
